Due to the encouragement of many electrologists who have attended my lectures over the past few years on "Educating Your Patients, Selling Yourself and Your Services," much of the material is now available in a flip chart format for your own personal use in your practice.

A quality consultation is truly the foundation of a successful practice. It is an opportunity for us to properly educate the patient about electrolysis: what it is, how it works, and what it can do for them. In order to adhere to the series of treatments necessary to achieve permanence, the individual must understand how it works. It is our opportunity to dispel any myths or misconceptions they may have about electrolysis. The consultation is also a time for you to prove to the individual how qualified you are as an electrologist, to give them the information they need to choose electrolysis as their method of hair removal, and to choose YOU to be their electrologist.
