More about the beginnings of Skinfluentials and June Allen:
June's
professional career began when she was licensed in 1975, following
graduation from Eleanor Roberts Institute of Electrologists in Boston,
one of the most prestigious electrology schools in the country at that
time. She has been a member of the American Electrology Association
(AEA) and Massachusetts Association of Electrologists (MAE) since 1975,
serving on the MAE board of directors for more than twenty years and as
President 1998-1999.
Participating in a voluntary national board certification
program, June became a Certified Professional Electrologist (CPE) in
1989 and a Massachusetts Registered Electrology Instructor in 1994. As a
CPE her certification can be maintained only through her on-going
participation in a minimum of 75 hours of continuing education for every
five-year re certification period, more than the requirement for re
licensing in the state of Massachusetts.June is a 1985 graduate of
Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics entering the profession almost at
its inception and currently holding a Massachusetts esthetics license.
She became certified in Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) hair removal in 2003
and certified in laser hair removal and laser safety in 2006. Because of
her dedication and commitment to her clients, June contributes to the
well-being of her clients by offering electrology, laser IPL hair
removal and skin care treatments of the highest quality, as well as
make-up instruction and application. As President of Skinfluentials,
June chooses the product lines and quality services that are provided at
the facility.
For
the past ten years, June has presented continuing education material to
electrologists across the country for electrologists seeking CEU's for
re licensing and re certification. She has published various articles
for the profession and produced and sells marketing material for
electrologists.
